Small Light Stories is an independent storytelling project by Mervan Aliu, based in North Macedonia and written in English for readers everywhere.

Our journal explores kindness, courage, and second chances through original fiction, photographs and illustrations, and short films. The lantern is our reminder that a small act can make a difference.

Our fictional stories are not news reports or claims about real events. Each post includes a note about its origin. AI tools may assist with illustrations, narration, or drafting; content should be reviewed and edited before publication. We do not present generated scenes as documentary footage.
